This is more family law/criminal law.  My 52 year old son and his twin daughters have lived with us since they were 3 or 4.  There mother died a year ago.  My son had custody of the 15 year old twin girls for quite some time.  When their mother died, we talked it over and decided that it might be comforting to them and their 28 year old half sister for a week or so.  When it came time for them to come home, she would not send them home or allow Matt to go pick up the girls.  He went to Multnomah County. filled out Writ of Assistance and Judge Maquire signed it, telling Matt she had no right to them whatsoever and that she (the Judge) was going to keep Matt's case from then on.  He Met with the police officers and went to big sister's home.  She has viscious dogs and a chain link fence, that may be about 6 feet,  always locked.  Felicia, the big half-sister, was called on her phone and she came out and unlocked the gate.  One officer went into the house with Matt's Writ of  Assistent, and came out very quickly and said "It is not in my job description to go out and remove someone from one home to the home of another relative. And that was that.  Matt tried it again I can't remember what happened.  They did come home for a few days until Jordyn ran away again.  This was on my daughter's birthday, September 20, 2022. Carly stayed here for a while, until she decided to run away, too.  They both did it from school.  They know I will be there to pick them up after school, so they leave in between classes.  They want to live with big sister, but big sister is not a good role model.  She has gone out to steal packages off the front porches of people and even dared Jordyn to do it.  Jordyn did. That lesson was learned so well that when a package came here for someone, Jordyn brought it in, took it upstairs and opened it.  She didn't tell anyone that the package had arrived. She took them once with her when she was trying to find her drug addicted boyfriend at his dealer's house.  When he asn't there, she threw large rocks through his windows and broke the glass.  Another time, she told them that they could make ends meet easily by having a sugar daddy or two.  She apparently told them about her boyfriends who pay the rent, another pays her phone bill, and I can't recall what the other one paid for. There is more, but it is definitely criminal, so I'm not going to get into that right now.  I'm sure my son will tell you.  She also didn't make them go to school and, in fact, she said they weren't there and tried to phony it up by suggesting places where they might be. A neighbor told the private investigator that Big sisters has two teen-agers living with her. Matt went down to the courthouse today to try to get something where she would be in trouble if she would call them, pick them up somewhere, etc.  The judge told him had had what he needed - Writ of Assistance - so he had all the tools he needs to pick up the girls.  Problem is, they willl just run away again and head for Big Sissie's house, then here we go again. I'm not sure if it was the judge today who told him he needed to get an attorney to help him.  Problem is, he hasn't worked in a very long time and is working on getting SSI so he will have some kind of money.  Anyway, the bottom line is, he needs to find an attorney who will work for free or charge very little. I've worked for attorneys for over 50 years and am dismayed that I can't remember the official words that should be used rather than work for free.  Matt's phone number is 971-212-0498 and mine is 503-320-5695 and my email is sofarmer@comcast.net and you can call or write anytime.  Thank you for your time!
