A Riverside County sheriff's deputy was recovering Thursday from injuries suffered when his motorcycle collided with a van in Temecula.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Bedford Court and Temecula Parkway, according to a sheriff's spokesman.
