Kunsman, of San Diego, was wearing a helmet when he was hit Friday evening. He later died from his injuries in a Portland hospital, according to state police. The pickup truck driver, Frank Bohannon, 74, of Oceanside, cooperated with the investigation and was not hurt in the crash.
