Mattox was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and speeding as he was northbound on John R Road at about 11:00pm, lost control of the vehicle, and left the roadway. The vehicle flipped and crashed into the wall of CJ's Fruit Market, which sent rubble and debris falling onto Mattox's vehicle.
