Route 125

Melanie Guptill, 51, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and pronounced deceased at the crash site. The accident happened occurred around 5:30 p.m. Thursday when Guptill's car swerved into oncoming traffic and hit a stone embankment. The car rolled multiple times. 

Authorities are investigating a fatal collision in Brentwood that killed a woman and a dog Tuesday evening. A Ford Escort, driven by Catherine Roberts, 57, of Epping, was heading north on Route 125 when it crossed over the center line and collided with a Chevy pickup truck.

The driver of the school bus had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution, and though the driver of the first car to be hit had to be extricated from the vehicle,  she was not seriously hurt.
