Twin Peaks Road and Maplewood Street

A man who crashed into a tree while driving under the influence in Poway was taken into custody early Saturday, said a sheriff's spokesman. About 6:30 a.m. deputies received a call that a man drove off the road and crashed into a tree at Twin Peaks Road and Maplewood Street.
