Sun, 02/01/2015A pedestrian killed Sunday evening, Contley Green, 74, was killed after being hit by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 1 in North Augusta. Green was wearing dark clothes and was walking in the road about 11 p.m. The driver of the vehicle, Kenneth Stevens will not be charged.

Sun, 09/14/2014Investigators believe a man killed in a single vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon was driving in excess of 75 mph when he crashed on U.S. Highway 1 outside Pinebluff. The wreck happened when the vehicle over-corrected and struck trees on the opposite side of the road.
