Perry County woman killed, 2 injured when vehicle hits utility pole, overturns

A Perry County woman was killed and two others were injured early Saturday morning when the vehicle they were riding in struck a utility pole and overturned. Annette Fields Black, 52, of Uniontown was killed in the crash that occurred at around 1:15 a.m. on Alabama 16 near the 10-mile marker, about 10 miles south of Greensboro, according to Alabama state troopers. Black, a passenger of a 2000 Pontiac Montana, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Pontiac, Elizabeth Smith, 29, of Uniontown, and another passenger were both transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment.
