A man and woman were killed Monday in crashes in Talladega and Walker counties.

In Walker County, a Hamilton woman was killed. Troopers said 71-year-old Mable Criddle was a passenger in a vehicle that also lost control on a wet road, overturned and struck a tree.
That accident happened at 2:35 p.m. on Alabama 5, one mile north of Jasper. Criddle was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, troopers said
