81-year-old killed in Alabama 144 crash in Calhoun County
Parton was riding in a 2001 Ford Ranger that was turning onto Boiling Spring Road when it collided with another car, troopers said. That car, a 2001 Honda Accord, was heading east on Alabama 144 when it struck the truck, said Cpl. Jimmy L. Harrell Jr. in a news release.
