Motorcycle rider killed in head-on collision near Pell City(link is external)

A Pell City man was killed when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a car. The Alabama State Troopers say Jeffery Shane Hyatt, 25, died on the scene after crashing into a car on Manning Road, five miles north of Pell City. Hyatt was operating a Honda motorcycle, and crashed into a Hyundai Accent Thursday just after 10:00 a.m. The driver of the car was not injured. No other information was available.
