Dale Co. H.S. band director killed in morning wreck

Miller was a member of band since 2002. He studied at Troy University where he section leader and band vice president. He also served as a band camp instruct for high schools before graduating in 2014. He is survived by his wife, Sherri and their young daughter, Mary Madilynn.
Dale County High School band director Sean Miller, 24, was killed in a morning collision. The two-vehicle crash occurred at approximatley 7:10 Wednesday morning on U.S. 231 at the intersection of Hinton Waters Road in Midland City, when Miller's 2006 Mini-Cooper crashed with a dump truck.  Miller was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The driver of the dump truck was not injured.  The cause of the crash is under investigation.
