Fuel tanker, Mustang crash head-on on Huntsville-Brownsferry Road

There was a head-on collision on Huntsville-Brownsferry Road on Monday. (Source: WAFF) A fuel tanker and a Mustang were involved in a head-on collision on Monday at around 11:30 a.m. The Mustang was traveling westbound on Huntsville-Brownsferry Road, about a third of a mile from Highway 31. Athens firefighters had to cut the side and the roof of the car to get the man out. Both drivers were conscious at the scene and taken to Athens-Limestone Hospital.  Police said it doesn't appear either drivers have life-threatening injuries.
