Wreck kills 3 teens, injures 2 in north Alabama

Police haven't yet released the names of the victims. But the dead are identified as three males who attended a school in Florence, and two females who attend another school were injured.

The fatality victims were students at Wilson High School: Braden Turner, 17, and Coby Hines and Tyler Nelson, both 16, the report said.

Funeral for classmates is Tuesday at Wilson High

Wilson Principal Gary Horton said the visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and the funeral will follow. He said all of the services will be in the high school gym.     

Death of teens has far-reaching impact

Lauderdale schools Superintendent Jon Hatton said extra counselors, social workers and representatives from area churches will be at Wilson on Monday.
