A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. Thursday, June 22, has claimed the life of a West Hempstead, N.Y. man. Kaysohn T. Baker, 32, was fatally injured when the 2015 International Durastar that he was a passenger in, left the roadway and struck a parked 2017 Peterbilt tractor trailer that was occupied by William J. Lewis, 58, of Cartersville, Ga. Lewis was injured and transported to Dekalb Regional Medical Center for treatment.
