Police said one of the two vehicles ran a red light; however it is unclear at this time which vehicle is responsible.
Emergency responders lifted an 18-wheeler that collapsed onto a SUV after a crash Sunday around 6p.m.. The accident happened in Albertville, the truck and SUV collided by a gas station on northbound Highway 75 close to Martling Road. The driver of the truck and a passenger in the SUV were brought to Marshall Medical Center in non-life-threatening condition.
