Car plows into Albertville restaurant, injuring 3

Police say a car was backing out from in front of the restaurant when it was hit by oncoming traffic. One of the vehicles careened into a restaurant; the other vehicle was left rolled over on Main Street. "When i think about a car being on a roof, I think of high-speed police chase, I think of crazy things," said witness Destiny Craft. A second vehicle was left overturned on Main Street. (Source: WAFF) Three people were hospitalized after a two-car wreck in Downtown Albertville. Workers spent hours Tuesday cleaning up around El Sol King Pollo after the vehicle took out most of their front window.

Three people were injured Tuesday morning when a car crash hurled one of the vehicles through the front of a Mexican restaurant in Albertville. A server who was cleaning the windows smashed by the car was flown to Birmingham for treatment, the news station reports. A car was backing out of a parking space at El Sol King Pollo when another car driving by on Main Street slammed into it, AL.com news partner WHNT News 19 reports. Two others were also hospitalized, though their conditions were not immediately available. The other ended up inside the restaurant.
