Wreck blocks lanes on Beltline Road at Alabama 24

A traffic accident on Beltline Road near the Alabama 24 exit this afternoon was blocking southbound lanes on Beltline at 5:45 p.m. and disrupting northbound traffic. The wreck was near Marvin's Building Materials. Rescue personnel at the scene said there were no serious injuries. Police were detouring southbound Beltline traffic onto Alabama 24 and were frequently stopping northbound traffic on Beltline to facilitate the detour.
