Pastor Melvin Brown, 85, killed in two-vehicle car wreck on Interstate 65 in Hartselle, Alabama
Melvin Brown, 85, of Lacey’s Spring, was pronounced deceased at the crash site on I-65. Authorities say Brown’s 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche overturned, ejecting him from the vehicle. Brown served as the pastor of Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church for about 43 years. Justin Moore, 34, of Hartselle, was the driver of the second vehicle. He sustained minor injuries in the collision.
