Truck spills 20 tons of frozen chickens in Somerville

Clay Thomas Dunlap, 31, of Gurley, is charged with driving under the influence of illegal drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and a traffic violation, all misdemeanors, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office. The wreck occurred near Somerville Church of God when the 2004 pickup truck Dunlap was driving southbound crossed into a northbound lane and clipped the semi-tractor, state troopers said. The semi-tractor driven by James Samolis, of Texas, overturned in a field, dumping the frozen chickens across the grass, troopers said.
