Single vehicle crash on I-10 claims life of Milton teen

Alabama State Troopers say a single vehicle crash claimed the life of a Florida teenager. The pick-up's 17-year-old driver and two other passengers were also injured and taken to local hospitals for treatment. Officials said it happened Tuesday, July 7 on I-10 around 6:30 p.m. They said Christopher J. Free, 17, of Milton, FL. was injured when the 1990 Mazda pick-up truck in which he was a passenger left the road, overturned and hit a tree. He was taken to USA Medical Center where he passed away around 12:30 p.m.
