Woman killed in single vehicle accident Sunday

A woman was killed and a man injured in a one-vehicle accident northwest of Bay Minette early Sunday morning."Kimberly Ann Wilson, 49, was killed when the 2015 Dodge pickup in which she was a passenger left the roadway and struck a tree," said Trooper Kevin Cook,of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Public Information/Education Unit in a news release to Fox10 News."Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Harry Leon Wilson, Jr., 51, also of Bay Minette, was transported to USA Hospital in Mobile for treatment of his injuries," said Cook.Investigators say the accident happened shortly before 4:00 a.m. Sunday, ten miles northwest of Bay Minette on Alabama Highway 225.Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
