Troy man killed in two-vehicle crash

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by the Alabama state troopers.
A fatal accident killed Byron Maurice Hill, 37, and left four others injured when the 1999 Mazda Hill was driving exited the roadway on U.S. Highway 29. He over-corrected, crossing into oncoming traffic, and crashed into a 2001 Oldsmobile driven by Jeremy Jermaine Boyd, 21, of Brundidge. Hill was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Boyd and three passengers in his vehicle were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
