A 16-year-old girl was killed Monday in a crash in Coosa County.

Tootie was preceded in death by her cousin/uncle, Darren Marbury; grandfather, Mr. George Marbury; god brother, Christavious Jews; aunt, Mary Rudolph; uncle, George Marbury III.

16-year-old girl was killed Monday in a crash in Coosa County.

The Alabama State Troopers identified the girl as Jalaura Holley of Goodwater. Troopers said she was a passenger in a 1992 Lexus ES300 that collided with an SUV.

The crash happened about 3:20 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 280 and Coosa County 111, 10 miles west of Alexander City. The Lexus collided with a 2003 GMC Yukon.

Sgt. Steve Jarrett said a third vehicle, a 2007 Freightliner, then collided with the GMC. The driver of the Lexus and the driver of the GMC were injured and taken to area hospitals. The crash remains under investigation.
