Fatal traffic accident on Eastern Blvd causing delays

The Montgomery Police Department is currently investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Saturday near the intersection of Young Barn Road and the Eastern Boulevard. Police and fire units responded to the scene around noon in reference to the multi-vehicle accident that resulted in the death of an adult female. A second adult female was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries. All of the south bound lanes on the Eastern Blvd are currently shut down as crews work to clear the wreck.

Investigation continues as victim of fatal crash identified

Montgomery Police are continuing to investigate what led to the death of 30-year-old Nasrin Sultana, the victim in a three vehicle crash from Saturday. Investigators are still working to determine what may have caused the crash and have released no further details. The driver of the Accord was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police and fire units responded to the crash scene, near Young Barn Road, around noon. The driver of the Sienna did not receive any injuries.

One of the drivers involved, Nasrin Sultana, 30, of Montgomery, was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries. He was driving a Mitisubishi Galant at the time of the accident.
