Woman dies in crash near intersection of Atlanta Hwy. and Taylor Rd.

One person has died following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Atlanta Highway and Taylor Road Thursday morning, Montgomery police say. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Denise Barnes said a woman was taken to an area hospital with life threatening injuries. She said the victim later died of her injuries. The woman's name is being withheld pending notification of kin.

Alcorn was driving a 1992 Saturn SL2. The other car involved was a 2010 Honda Accord. Alcorn received life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital where she later died.
