Fairbanks man identified as victim of Steese Highway crash(link is external)

James Wilder was killed in a head-on collision on the Steese Highway north of Fairbanks near Hagelbarger Avenue, according to Alaska State Troopers.
The crash occurred about 7 p.m. Friday night and closed the northbound lane of the Steese Highway between Fairbanks and Fox. The driver of the other vehicle and his two passengers were transported to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Investigation into the cause and circumstances of the collision are still ongoing. The deceased driver was later identified as James Wilder.
