A Trooper dispatch reports it was a head-on collision between an SUV and pickup truck. The driver of the SUV, 66-year-old Lance Myers of Denali Park was declared deceased at the scene. A passenger was transported to a hospital in the area with life-threatening injuries. The driver and only occupant of the pick-up was not injured.
