Three dead in freeway crash in Gila River
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the collision happened around 5:30 a.m. Sunday on State Route 347 and Riggs Road near Chandler.
The agency did not release further details.

According to Gila River police, the investigation revealed the passenger vehicle had lost control while traveling north on State Route 347 where it crossed into opposing lanes of traffic and was struck by the semi.
The victims were all Native American. They have been identified as Julio Robles Ayala, Alfredo Ayala Jr. and, Debbie Howard.
