A woman crossing the street was hit by a school bus carrying children in Guadalupe late Thursday afternoon.
A woman crossing the street was hit by a school bus carrying children in Guadalupe late Thursday afternoon.
Maricopa County sheriff's deputies said the 32-year-old victim was in a crosswalk when the accident happened shortly after 5 p.m. near Priest and East Calle Iglecia.
The woman broke a hip and was taken to Maricopa County Medical Center, MCSO said. She is expected to be OK.
The driver was tested at the scene and impairment does not seem to be an issue, sheriff's deputies said.
The children were put on another bus.
