Angel Diaz, 4, killed, 3-year-old boy, 3 other people, including a woman 7 months pregnant, taken to hospital, after a 3-car crash on 83rd Avenue in Phoenix.

Phoenix police have identified a 4-year-old girl killed in a three-car collision.

Angel Diaz died from Friday night shortly after arriving at a hospital, police said.

Authorities say a woman, who was 7 months pregnant, was driving a Ford Explorer southbound on 83rd Avenue near Osborn Road when it side-swiped a Chevy Malibu going north.

Police said the Ford Explorer continued across the northbound lanes and collided almost head-on with a Nissan Frontier pickup.

Police said Angel was a passenger in the pickup. A 3-year-old boy who was also in the vehicle is in stable condition. The driver and another passenger are recovering from their injuries.

Officers said the woman was forced to deliver her baby, who remains in critical condition.
