Woman killed after being struck by car at gas station in Arizona.

Authorities in Scottsdale say a woman died Saturday after being hit by a car while at a gas pump.

A Scottsdale police spokesman Officer said the accident happened around 1 p.m. at the Costco gas pumps located in the 15200 block of north Hayden Road.

Police said an 86-year-old man driving a Jeep backed into a car belonging to a 74-year-old woman.

When the woman got out to look over the damage to her vehicle the Jeep ran over her, dragging her for a short distance afterwards.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators on scene did not believe alcohol to be a factor.

The gas pumps were closed while the investigation continued.
