Missouri woman dies in head-on crash in western Arkansas

MANSFIELD, Ark. — Arkansas State Police say a Missouri woman was killed in a head-on collision in western Arkansas. A state police report says 59-year-old Jeanette Lawson of Windsor, Missouri, died in the crash on Saturday in Scott County. The report says Lawson was a passenger in a southbound vehicle on U.S. Highway 71 when it collided with a northbound vehicle in the southbound lane. The drivers of both vehicles were injured and taken to a Fort Smith hospital in undisclosed conditions.

Crashes on highways kill 2, leave 2 hurt, state police say

A two-vehicle crash in Scott County killed a Missouri woman and injured two others Saturday morning, according to a state police report. A passenger in the Honda, Jeanette Lawson, 59, of Windsor, Mo., was killed in the crash.
