A Springtown woman was killed and four others were injured Thursday in a collision on Fairmount Road in Siloam Springs, Arkansas State Police said. Nichols' death was the 20th in a crash on an Arkansas road so far this year, according to preliminary figures. The injured were taken to Siloam Hospital for treatment, according to the report. Stacey Marie Nichols, a 30-year-old passenger in Klassen's vehicle, was killed in the collision. Road conditions were described as wet from rain and sleet at the time of the wreck, according to the report.
