78-year-old woman killed, 3 hurt in three-vehicle crash

A 78-year-old woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Jonesboro, according to police. According to authorities, Janes' truck was then struck on its side by Nelson's car, causing his truck to spin out. The driver of a westbound 1998 Toyota XTR, 50-year-old Charles Janes of Paragould, swerved his pickup in an attempt to avoid a crash, police said. According to police, 77-year-old Betty Janes of Paragould was a passenger in Charles' truck. The exact conditions of the three others involved in the crash were not known as of Wednesday evening.
