The 1998 Freightliner truck was traveling south on the highway before 6:30 a.m. when it drove left of center and hit the driver-side of a northbound Ford Focus, the report said.

The driver of the Ford F-250, Larry Ellis, 53 of Plainview, was killed in the crash and three others were transported from the scene to River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle for treatment of the injuries they sustained in the crash.
