Eric Abeyta, 26, and Jason Hogue, 25, die after head-on car crash on U.S. 82 in Union County, Arkansas

Also, state police said a second person injured in a Thursday morning head-on collision in Union County died Friday.
Eric Abeyta, 26, of Smackover, died from injuries he sustained in a Thursday collision on U.S. 82. Jason Hogue, 25, was traveling eastbound on the highway in Chevrolet Trailblazer when his vehicle crossed the centerline and crashed into the westbound Chevrolet Suburban driven by Abeyta. Hogue was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Abeyta was taken to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, where he died Friday morning.
