Truck kills man; driver, passenger die in 2nd wreck
Melenta Zekanovic, 51, of Kitchener, Ontario, was standing near the driver's side door of his 2007 Volvo, which was parked on the right shoulder of Interstate 30 westbound at mile marker 29.75, according to a state police report.
A 2016 International truck was traveling west when it left the interstate just after 5:30 p.m. and struck Zekanovic, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, the report said.
