Nineteen injured when bus strikes tree on Highway 41 in Oakhurst, California
19 injured in bus crash north of Oakhurst
At least 19 people were injured Saturday afternoon when a bus hit a tree on Highway 41 north of Oakhurst and then went down an embankment, the California Highway Patrol is reporting.
The crash, reported at 5:36 p.m., involves major injuries, the CHP said. Patients are being transported by three helicopters and nine ambulances to Community Regional Medical Center and Madera Community Hospital, the CHP is reporting.
