The crash took place as Vicente Meraz, 60, of Fresno was southbound on Highway 65 approaching Avenue 184 in a 2005 Nissan, and Gary Santos, 71, of Tulare, in a 2010 Chevrolet, pulled out from Avenue 184 in front of the Nissan, according to the CHP.
