A 19-year-old man was killed in a three-car collision Tuesday evening near Manzanita Regional Park in Monterey County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 19-year-old man was driving north on San Miguel Canyon Road when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a van heading north., and then a 2013 Freightliner that was traveling behind it. The 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people in the van were taken to Natividad Medical Center for treatment. The man driving the Freightliner was not injured. The accident is still under investigation.
