Officers arrived to find a collision occurred between a white Mercedes-Benz and a black Kia. Three victims inside the Kia, all believed to be adult males, were pronounced dead at the scene, Carringer said.

Three men were killed and two women hospitalized in a violent hit-and-run crash in Anaheim, authorities said.

Officers responded to the hospital to interview the driver and passenger, according to Carringer who indicated that speed appears to be a factor in the crash.

Jacob Rolon, 32, of La Mirada, and Alexander Smiller, 63, of Los Angeles, were in a Kia SUV that collided with a Mercedes-Benz sedan near the intersection of Brookhurst Street and Orange Avenue around 2:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Coroner’s officials Sunday released the name of the three men killed in a possible hit-and-run crash in Anaheim, where two women later showed up at an area hospital and were questioned by police.
