At least 1 dead after small plane crashes into Riverside home
Officials said the crash happened near Rhonda Road and Dewey Avenue. It appeared that three homes were impacted by the crash. Fire officials said four people were reported missing and one person was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

One dead, 5 hurt after plane crashes into 2 homes in Riverside
Four people were aboard the plane, and two of the victims were pulled from one of the burning homes, Riverside Fire Department Capt. Tyler Reynolds said. It was not immediately clear whether the dead person was from the plane or one of the homes. The Cessna 310 aircraft crashed shortly after taking off from Riverside Municipal Airport, Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said. The plane was headed for San Jose when it crashed about a half-mile northeast of the Riverside airport.

In a press conference on Monday night authorities said four people have died in connection with the crash.
The Cessna 310 crashed about a half-mile northeast of the Riverside Municipal Airport, according to Ian Gregor, a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman. It had departed from Riverside en route to San Jose.

Authorities initially said four people died, and that the critically injured victim was a resident of the homes. They later reduced the death toll to three and said all five victims had been on the plane. They have not given the ages or identities of the victims.

The Cessna 310 crashed shortly after take-off from Riverside Municipal Airport, 60 miles east of Los Angeles. All of the passengers were from San Jose - in the area for a cheerleading event at Disneyland.
