She was estimated to be in her late 30s, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The pedestrian was walking across the northbound lanes of I-5 near Highway 50 when she was hit by semi's trailer. Northbound lanes were closed for approximately 90 minutes and reopened at about 4 a.m. We will update this story as the names of those involved are released.
