Two vehicle collision sparked 50 acre brush fire on Proctor Valley Road near Jamul, California

The fire ignited late Saturday afternoon in a residential area near Proctor Valley Road, west of the Jamul Casino. The cars, which collided on a rural road, caught fire and ignited nearby brush, a Cal Fire San Diego spokesperson said. Firefighters from several agencies, including the Chula Vista Fire Department, sent crews to fight the blaze.
