Fatal, Fiery Crash Closes I-8 East
The crash happened early Sunday morning at approximately 4:46 a.m. when a BMW hit the center divide, rolling across several lanes of the highway near the College Area, California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials said.
A truck then hit the car, prompting another truck to swerve out of the way and hit the center divide. One of the truck drivers was transported to the hospital, complaining of pain.

Plascencia-Roque was headed east on the freeway when his BMW drifted into the center concrete barrier for unknown reasons about 4:45 a.m., CHP Officer Jake Sanchez said. A Ford F-150 struck the car west of College Avenue shortly after.
