Driver died after their pickup truck left the freeway and crashed into a tree off of Interstate 5 in San Diego, California

A driver died after his pickup truck veered off the freeway and crashed into a tree in San Diego's Nestor neighborhood Monday night, according to a California Highway Patrol officer. The crash occurred around 11:10 p.m. as the man drove a Dodge Ram south on Interstate 5 to the Tocayo Avenue off-ramp.
