A pedestrian struck by a hit-and-run driver in Hayward Wednesday died at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley on Thursday, police said.

Police are looking for a vehicle that sustained front bumper and hood damage and possible damage to the windshield and side windows.

A 50-year-old pedestrian whose name has not yet been released was struck and killed on his way to work as he was walking through a parking garage at 2660 West Winton Avenue at around 10 pm. Another driver found the victim lying on the pavement. The pedestrian was tranported to Eden Medical Center where he later died of his injuries.
