Rodeo woman killed in solo-vehicle crash in Antioch during police chase
The deceased woman was identified by the Contra Costa County Coroner's Officer on Friday as Leona Moreno, of Rodeo. Police originally said Moreno was from Pittsburg. Police say Moreno and two men, ages 26 and 21, were speeding in a stolen Lexus on Thursday night when police chased them east from Pittsburg to Antioch.

But in Moreno's death, police say that both the vehicle's surviving occupants told investigators that the other guy was driving. A California Highway Patrol officer conducted a three-month investigation into the crash, and even took DNA samples of both men to test against samples taken from the car's seats, but could not determine who was driving.
