Man accused of leaving crash that killed Pueblo teen arrested

Police say Perea was behind the wheel of a maroon Cadillac that crashed into a power pole on Pueblo Boulevard and Northern Avenue. They say two other people who were in the car also fled the scene.

Accused hit-and-run driver extradited to Pueblo

A Pueblo man accused of leaving the scene of a deadly crash has returned to Pueblo. Frankie Perea, 26, was booked into the Pueblo County Jail on Wednesday.
Perea was the behind the wheel of a maroon Cadillac that crashed into a power pole on Pueblo Boulevard and Northern Avenue. Two other passengers also fled the accident scene.
